Cricket was promoting a pay for 3 months get 1 month free deal which I took advantage of. When the fourth, supposedly free, month came up I was sent a text saying I owed $110. I called customer service and asked why I had a balance due. First I was told that when I paid for 3 month up front that I was paying a discounted rate which is not true. I paid 3 months of my normal price. Then when I told him that he said well it's because you are paying in advance for the upcoming month and since I paid in January I now have to pay for May. I explained to him that I understand I am paying in advance and when I paid on January 19th for 3 months that should cover February, March, and April which would make May free. Then he put me on hold only to come back and then tell me that he has no information regarding that promotion (which if that was true why was he trying to explain in to me 2 other times?) and I needed to go to the location where I made the payment to work it out. I went to the store and they gave me the same run around. Oh, we don't know anything about that poromotion and you need to call customer service. I had saved my receipt showing the promotion and payment on it but that meant nothing to them. I am not going to waste another second or put another cent towards this company who offers spotty service at best and some of the worst customer service I have experienced. The continuous dropped calls and the constant billing problems with Cricket is not worth the little bit you can save. Especially with better companies now coming out with comprable plans. I would very highly recommend AGAINST using Cricket and if you do choose to, make sure you shop around first and definitely save any and all receipts and paperwork otherwise they will get you!

28 December 13: I order a Samsung mobile on line from Cricket (expected delivery by 31 December 13)
31 December 13: I contact Cricket, they give me UPS tracking # 1Z6R526W2902772659, and the number to call>
I then call UPS who informs me that the phone is out for delivery in HATTIESBURG, Mississippi> I inform UPS that I live in Nevada. UPS tells me I cannot give corrected address, only Cricket can> I contact Cricket, ask them why they sent to wrong address, they don’t know why, they just did. I explain to Cricket they have to call UPS with correct address.
2 Jan 14: Cricket contacts UPS and gives correct address> I contact Cricket for new delivery date, they tell me by 4th of Jan 14.
4 Jan 14: No phone delivered> I contact UPS, now they tell me phone will be delivered 10 Jan 14.
10 Jan 14: I contact UPS, they tell me phone is lost in UPS hub in Las Vegas. I call Cricket, they tell me there is nothing they can do> I call Paypal and file dispute over my payment of $85.59
22 Jan 14: At 8am I hear ‘thud’ on my deck - go out and see UPS parcel, containing my new mobile from Cricket> I immediately call Cricket and let them know phone was thrown onto my deck> I then call Paypal and resend payment of $85.59 to Cricket> I then take new phone to local Cricket store to port my number to new phone, store charges me $15 to do it.
30 Jan 14: I attempt to pay my Cricket bill online, payment will not go thru> I contact Cricket to pay by phone, payment won’t go through.
31 Jan 14: I again attempt to pay my Cricket bill by phone and am transferred to man who tells me I cannot pay my bill because I had initially ‘disputed’ the $85.59...and they blocked my account until I pay the $85.59. I explained I had repaid it - he said he didn’t care> I contacted Paypal who confirmed payment.
3 Feb 14: I attempt to talk to Cricket RE: THEY SHIPPED TO WRONG ADDRESS, UPS lost phone, I repaid the $85.59 when phone finally delivered and now they want another $85.59> They will call me back on 4 Feb 14, after they review the files> I contact Paypal and give them all of the info and they reverse the second payment to Cricket.
5 Feb 14: I discover my phone has been turned off> I borrow a friends phone and call Cricket, not only have they blocked payments to keep account active, but they’ve turned off my phone and I can’t have my phone turned back on or get my phone number back until I pay an additional $85.59 and $17.00 to have my number re-attached to my account. In order to have my phone turned back on, I paid the $85.59 again AND the additional $17.00 to get my number back thru my US BANK account> As soon as service was restored, I immediately call another provider and have my number ported to another carrier, and return the mobile phone to Cricket USPS TRACKING # 9114901123086840463231 and file dispute with U S Bank.
7 Feb 14: MOBILE IS DELIVERED TO CRICKET. I contact Cricket about having my 3rd payment returned to me, they said they would call me back. They NEVER have.
Cricket has both the phone and my $85.59 and the $17.00 that I had to pay to get my “hijacked” number back. This is what it’s called when a service provider forces you to pay extra money to get your number back.

Are you tired of having a cell phone provider that does not care about the continuous issues you are encountering. Has dropped calls, error messages when attempting to use the web browser and text that simply don’t go through the norm? When calling customer service instead of receiving someone that can and will help you receive false information, incorrect data and annoyed employees that can/will not help you? Have you spent too much money on your device, your service and simply need it to work properly but can’t get anyone to help you?

Cricket DOES suck! I called them and asked if my cell # was portable,which they SAID they specifically checked and was definitely portable to their service. They even gave me a phone # to call to do so. Once they UPSOLD me on a phone and sold me service, they told me it would be no problem to change from the # they gave me to my old #. Got the phone, activated it, and called to port the new #, they told it was IMPOSSIBLE because they did not do business in that area code! This is AFTER their salesperson not only said they did, but also said he SPECIFICALLY checked the # and that they could. Then I had to speak to six people before I could get them to supposedly give me a refund. We'll see when the credit card bill arrives. I still have to get a new #, and it will still cost more than Cricket, but I'd rather do that than give those jack-holes a single stinking dollar!
