I have been a customer of Cricket Wireless for over a year. In October 2010, I ordered a new phone through Cricket's website. The company failed to include proper address information, as provided to them, which caused a delivery failure that I had to resolve myself with Federal Express.

When I got the phone, Cricket was unable to activate it. My original phone was purchased in Las Vegas, NV, and worked very well when I moved to San Francisco. However, the limitations of Cricket's service left them unable to activate the new phone while I was in San Francisco. The customer service agent (in India or Pakistan) suggested that I "return to Las Vegas" so that the phone could activate. Rather, I insisted on returning the phone to Cricket and getting a full refund.

Over a month after Cricket received the return, my money has not been refunded. Calls to the customer service department have yielded no results at all. Cricket first claimed that they hadn't received the return (disproven by UPS records), then pretended that they did not know why my refund was withheld. The impression that I have been left with is that the company will do anything to frustrate the customer into giving up.

Clearly, Cricket has no intention of returning my money. I am disgusted beyond measure that this has happened. As of the coming Monday, I will turn the matter over to my bank and let them pursue it. If Cricket insists on using fraud as a business practice, they can cope with the consequences.

I am going through the same thing!! I returned my phone to them on Dec 4th. As of Jan 4th or the 5th, I should have had my $200 applied back to my account. At first they tried to say they did not know it was being processed. Then the lady I spoke with in India of course gave me a fake employee ID #. So I called 2 days later and they said "Were So Sorry Sir, we will escalate this to the supervisor of backend dept" After another week goes by, I was told on 3 different occasions that I will have my refund within 24-48 hrs. So that took a full week. Now they are saying that it is being processed and it is not possible for me to speak to someone directly in the back end. If I had the money I would fly to Bangalore India and Whoop some ass and take my F'ing refund back in person. Instead I have to sit here and pretend that $200 isn't a big deal. Fuc Cricket!!!

Cricket is a scam and thank god people are starting to catch on!! Cricket is only intended for illegal aliens around the borders to have a cell phone, I know it sounds bad but its true, my cousin lives in Nogales Sonora and he cannot even answer his call because the reception is so bad. To make matters worse when he tried to get his refund they told him he needed a social security number to get it. You dont even need an ID to get the phone and now you need a proof of citizenship to obtain his refund. BS

Well me too I had stopped using cricket back in2010 but recently they started advertising 4g LTE?!?!?!?! I thoughts they had changed then I took a chance and bought Samsung Galaxy S4 573 dollars.
Now am being torn apart forced to pay the bank when cricket is eating my money.
Please everyone out there who intend to buy cricket phone rethink and buy only if you have no other option then they will treat you like they did to me.
